Yvonne W. Chesney

Chesney, Yvonne age 49 of Townsend, TN went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 5, 2006. Yvonne was born on June 8, 1956 in Hazard, KY to Carlis and Marie (Kilburn) Wells who preceded her in death. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and wonderful friend to all who knew her. She attended faithfully Tuckaleechee Methodist Church in Townsend, TN. She worked for Cracker Barrel for 25 years and retired in 2005. Survivors include: Husband, Dave Chesney of Townsend; Stepson, Kenny Chesney of Franklin, TN; Son, Scott Lunsford & wife Erica and grandson Layton of Louisville, TN; Daughter, Misty Breeden and husband Steven and grandsons Steve and Cain of Knoxville, TN; Sister, Reva Chappell & husband Lee of Converse, IN; Brothers, Leon Wells & wife Sharon of Glasgow, KY, Doug Wells & wife Diane of Corbin, KY and Roger Wells & wife Juanita of London KY; Three Nephews and Four Nieces. Funeral services will be at 7:30 PM, Sunday, May 7, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Ken Abbott and Rev. Rick Clowers officiating. Interment will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, May 8, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Lee Chappell, Robert Chappell, Timothy Wells, Benjamin Wells, Lynn Boman, Pete Jivelekas, David Wellons, Jeff Chesney. Honorary Pallbearers are: Stevie Breeden, Buster Saffles, Bill Finchim, Greg Chesney, RJ Chesney, Richard Chesney, Kenny Chesney, Kingdom Heirs Southern Gospel, Grubers Post 60 American Legion, 1959-60 Baseball Team.
