William Rex Starrett, age 71, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 at his home after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ola B. and Ethel Starrett; son, William F. "Billy" Starrett, and brother, Raymond Starrett; He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Dortha J. Starrett; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Donnie Gibson; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Cindi Starrett; grandchildren, Jordan Gibson and Imbri Starrett; brother and sister-in-law, Roe and Francis Starrett; brother, Julian Starrett; other brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews also survive; He will be sadly missed by all.
