William R. Paxton

William R. Paxton age 69 of Greenback passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Parkwest Hospital. He was a member of the Methodist Faith. He retired from MACtac Co. of Stow, OH after 40 years of service as Supervisor. In 2001, 8 years ago, he moved to his Greenback farm which he loved so much. Preceded in death by: Father, Carl Raymond Paxton; Brother, Larry Paxton; Mother & Father-in-law, Metta & Wood Everett. Survivors include: Wife of 46 years, W. Gaylene Paxton; Son & Daughter-in-law, Attorney "Tony" & Rita Paxton of Akron, OH; Daughter & Son-in-law, Metta Therrice & Salvador Saucedo of Houston, TX; Grandchildren, Annie Herchenroder and Teri Jo Caetta; Great-Granddaughter, Riley Ann Herchenroder; Mother, Edna Leah Paxton of Ravenswood, WV; Brother & Sister-in-law, Keith & Donna Paxton of Ravenswood, WV. Special thanks to Dr. Stephen Pershing, Dr. Gabriel Ojeda, and Dr. Patricia Copley for their special care that they provided and to the ER doctors, nurses, and staff at Parkwest Hospital for making the "hotel" stays very personal and friendly. Special thanks to all family and friends for their love and prayers near and far. Thanks to all the people who remembered their courtesy and moved out of the way of the flashing car lights getting him to the hospital. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 25, 2008 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Carl White officiating.
