Wendy Bass

Wendy Dew Bass, age 60 of Maryville, TN passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Wendy enjoyed living the “farm” life with her horses, dogs, and cats. She was employed in the IT field for 30+ years, specifically as a software engineer and specialist programmer. She was a loving and devoted wife, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Milburn “Mib” Beal; parents, Dagma and Josephine Bass; and her brother, Donald Bass. Survived by her brother, Mike Bass; sister, Jo Ann Shelby (Mike), and Kathy Deans (Donnie); many nieces, nephews, and other family. A celebration of Wendy’s life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Smith Funeral Home, Maryville, TN 865-983-1000.
