Virginia Barbara Quaranta

Virginia Barbara Quaranta, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Virginia was retired from nursing after many years of service in Rhode Island before moving to Maryville, Tennessee. She loved her close family and taking care of others. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Goins and 13 brothers and sisters. Survived by her son, Robert E. Hines of Holly Springs, NC; grandchildren, Timeka and Jason Holden of Wendell, NC, Robert Miguẽl Hines of Raleigh, NC, and Tyesha and Hamilton Lloyd of Raleigh, NC; adopted children, Risha Wimbley, Russia Wimbley, and Ridge Wimbley; great grandson, Hamilton Lloyd III; very special nephew, John James Quaranta Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and special friends also survive. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:30am until 12:30pm at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service. Afterwards the Family and friends will assemble at 1:00pm at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
