Virginia Sue Porter of Maryville passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a longtime employee of the City of Maryville and a lifelong member of Mountain View Church of Christ. Preceded in death by: husband, John Porter; parents, Floyd & Inez Raulston; brother, Charles T. Raulston. Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Melvin Hughes; grandchildren, Justin & Chris Hughes, Kerri & Adam Thompson, John & Molly Hughes; great-grandchildren, Anna Thompson, Sarah Thompson, Haley Hughes, and Porter Hughes; sister-in-law, Norma Porter; nephew, Ray Porter; nieces, Kathy Porter, Amy Lovin, Charae Lovin, and Julie Raulston; several great nieces and nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Mountain View Church of Christ Cemetery, 3102 Six 6 Mile Rd, Maryville, TN 37803. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Mountain View Church of Christ Cemetery with Minister Mike Jones officiating.
