Preceded in death by: Parents, James Alexander Wade Burnett and Amy Hackney Burnett; Husband, Henry Michael Cowden; Sisters, Emma Burchfield, Pearl Wilburn, and Bertha Boyd; Brothers, Clarence, Nimon, Ben, Edmond, and Cecil Burnett; Grandson, Donald Glen Cowden II; Daughter-in-law, Betty Fagg Cowden. Survivors include: Daughters and Sons-in-law, Jo Ann & Larry Pierce, Shirley & Rex Ogle, Evelyn & Jerry Dockery; Sons, Fred Cowden and Paul Cowden; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Donald & Sylvia Cowden and Ronald & Rosa Cowden; Sister-in-law, Dora Burnett; Thirteen Grandchildren; Twenty Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. George Macht and Rev. Greg Long officiating.
