Victor Clay Wilhoite, Sr. received his Heavenly healing surrounded by his loved ones on October 22, 2022.

Victor was born October 27, 1943, to Hugh and Edna Wilhoite in Maryville, TN. He graduated from Walland High School in Blount County, TN in 1961. He was married to Charlotte Headrick from 1968 to 1979 and had 4 children. He married Wilda Faye Whaley on June 18, 1983, and she brought 2 children to complete their family. Victor served 3 years in the United States Army. He worked as a butcher afterwards until his retirement. Victor loved hunting, fishing and car racing and valued his family above all others.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Edna Wilhoite, son, Jason Wayne, brothers, MacSwain (Mac), Ralph, and Perry and sisters Mary and Anna.

Victor is survived by his wife, Wilda Faye of Seymour; his children, Victor Jr. (Digna) Alcoa, TN, Rhonda of Bartlett, TN, Melissa (Greg) of Bozeman, MT, Randall (Valerie) of Seymour, TN and Christopher (Susan) of Lubbock, TX, brothers James Lynn (Sandy) of Winchester, KY and David (Laura) of Livonia, MI, as well as sisters Norma of Oklahoma City, OK, Sarah (Gary) Maryville, TN, Nancy (Kyle) of Maryville, TN. He also has 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family would like to give a special thank you to U.T. Hospice, especially Heather, Joni, Rachel and John.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cross Ministry of Seymour, TN.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service in Maryville, TN. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. George Macht officiating.  Family and friends will assemble for interment at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
