Vernon Ray Johnson

Johnson, Vernon "Ray" age 71 of Louisville passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Colonial Hills Health Care Center. He was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church. He was a Store Manager for Giant Food Market and retired from Food Lion. Preceded in death by: Wife, Edna Louise Johnson; Parents, Floyd Vernon & Helen Johnson. Survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law, Vickie & Randy Gray of Maryville; Daughter, Susan Ann Johnson. Grandchildren, Apryl Lucinda & husband Nicholas Hard, Aaron Landon Steich all of Louisville; Great-Grandson, Kodie Hard; Son-in-law, Robert Steich; Sisters, Maxine Cowan and Dortha Sing both of Maryville, Jama Hamil of Friendsville; Sister and Brother-in-law, Caroline & Bill Crisp of Friendsville; Special friends, Buddy & Lillian Lambert & Dr. Oliver Agee. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Phillip Marshall and Rev. Gordon Robinson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Louisville Cemetery for the interment.
