Nuchols, Verna Elizabeth age 95 of Maryville, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the family home. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Nuchols; son, Sidney Eugene Nuchols; brother, Clyde Best. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, David & Jo Dean Nuchols of Maryville; daughter-in-law, Dora Nuchols of Calhoun, GA; 6 grandchildren, Genora Ely, Sue Hall, Rebecca Roberts, Mike Nuchols, Bryan Nuchols & Jodi Self; 4 great-grandchildren, Leighanne Ely, Rachel Hall, John Hall & Daniel Daws; brother, Ray Best of CA; sisters, Mary Lee McConnell of AL and Lucille Davis of Kingston. Funeral service 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2006, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Dr. John Sharp officiating. Interment will he held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery.
