Velma Lee Hanchett of Maryville passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Maryville Healthcare. She was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, William Carl & Lucille French; Brother, Howard Ray French; Sisters, Anita Wehurt and Barbara Tipton. Survivors include: Son, Tim J. Hatcher of Maryville; Grandchildren, Alisa & Paula Musick; Brother & Sister-in-law, L.C. & Celia French of Ga. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. George Macht officiating. Interment will follow at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
