Thomas Lee Berkley

Thomas Lee (Tommy) Berkley age 81 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the family home. He was a member of Smithwood Baptist Church and retired from Smithwood Food Mart Grocery. Tommy retired from Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and retired after 27 years of service with the U.S. Army Reserve 489th Civil Affairs Unit. Survivors include: Wife of 58 years, Nina Jean Berkley; Sons, Lee Berkley & wife Linda Campbell and Chris Berkley; Grandchildren, Thomas & John Berkley; Extended family, A.J. & Amanda Gann, Michael Gann, and Cathy Robertson; Sister-in-law, Martha Berkley; special nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Dr. David Crutchley and Chaplain Larry Hammock officiating.
