Ted Allen Crain, age 69, of Maryville, TN, passed away on September 2, 2026. He was born on October 11, 1956, in Flint, MI, to Arvin and Nancy Crain.

Ted will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and devotion to his family. He is survived by his wife, Amy Crain; daughters Stephanie Crain, Melissa (Chris) Bowden, and Jessie (Tyler) Wright; step-son Drew (Beth) Kreibich; grandchildren Riley Crain, Jake Bowden, Ethan Bowling, Jackson Bowden, Christiana Bowling, Luke Bowling, Ryan Bowden, Keegan Wright, Moses Bowling, Karley Wright, and Aubrynn Kreibich; brother Barry Crain, sister Becky Welborn; and nieces and nephews; and his four-legged boys, Leo, Luger, and Linus. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cindy Horne.

A memorial service will be held on September 10, 2026, at Revolution Church, 3419 East Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN. Receiving of friends: 5:00 - 6:30 pm. Service at 6:30. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers (T2T.org).

Ted always said that his obituary should read, “Hiz naim wuz Ted, He iz ded”.
