Taylor Olson

April 3, 1985 — March 24, 2008

Taylor Lee Olson, 22, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord unexpectedly in the early hours of March 24, 2008. Taylor was born in Eugene, Oregon on April 3, 1985. He attended Bearden High School. He was a free-spirit with a loving heart and a wonderful infectious way to make people laugh and smile. He had a passion and talent for riding dirt bikes in his teen years, and a constant deep love for animals, especially his beloved dog, Parris. He also loved spending quality time with friends and family. He deeply loved and adored his beautiful 16 month old son, Conner. He was incredibly creative, a wonderful artist, and wrote amazing poems. He will be greatly and sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: Son, Conner Lee Olson; Loving parents, Jody & Carrie Olson; Sisters, who adored him, Jessi Olson, Jennifer & husband Evan Hewgley; Grandparents, Robert & Shirley Olson of Alcoa and Duaine & Judy Grant of Lincoln, NE; Niece, Rylee Lin Rhodes whom he called his angel; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous close friends - too many to mention. The receiving of friends will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel followed by the Celebration of Taylor's Life Service. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 29, 2008 at the funeral home to go in procession to Grandview Cemetery for the interment. A special thanks to Leonard Turner for his support.
