Steven Dexter

Steven Fleisher Dexter age 65 passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at home in Maryville, Tennessee. He was a man who lived with optimism, determined to enjoy every day of his life. Steve showed courage and strength in the face of adversity. He was the son of R.G. and Pauline Dexter born in Battle Creek, Michigan. Steve was educated in Deerfield, IL and a graduate of The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He came to Columbia, Missouri in 1965 establishing Dexter Management and Realty Co. He was active in the Daniel Boone Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball. Survivors include: Wife of 40 years, Ann Dexter; Son & Daughter-in-law, Steven Luther & Cami Dexter of Atlanta, GA; Daughters, Laren Dexter of Columbia, Missouri; Daughter & Son-in-law, Shannon & Scott Twillmann of Charlotte, NC; Grandchildren, Jon, Ian, & Daniel Dexter and Maddie Twillmann; Sister & Brother-in-law, Susan & Jim Lyon of St. Louis, Missouri. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 21, 2008 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Columbia, Missouri with The Rev. Amy Chambers Cortright officiating.
