Stella Mae Dixon

Stella Mae Dixon, age 88 of Maryville, went home to be with The Lord on Thursday, September 29, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  Stella was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church and was a faithful servant of the Lord.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth “Poncho” Dixon; parents, Charlie & Mamie Flynn; infant daughter, Cynthia Dixon; sisters, Iva Lee Neeley, Eugene Flynn, Otis Flynn; sisters, Sarah Belle Flynn and Ruth Silcox.  Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jim Grubb; grandsons, Matthew (Devin) Wilburn, Zachary Wilburn, and Andrew (Deidra) Wilburn; great-grandson, Easton Wilburn; sister, Shirley  Braunm; special nephew, James Dixon.  The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver, Jill.  Memorial donations may be made to Piney Level Baptist Church, 3527 Piney Level Church Rd, Maryville, TN 37803.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel.  Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.
