Seth Alan Price, age 38, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023. He was born in Maryville, TN on August 7, 1984 to parents Patricia Cutshall Price and Dwight Alan Price, both of Maryville. Seth was a successful real estate broker and owned Price & Associates Realtors, LLC. He was a 2002 graduate of Maryville High School and had an Associate’s degree from Pellissippi State Community College. Seth lived in West Knoxville and worked in all surrounding counties to help people find homes to rent.
Seth loved his family and friends, loved flying airplanes and was a licensed pilot. He was an entrepreneur in all things and loved animals, traveling the world, collecting guns, cars, watches, and various other collectibles. He enjoyed helping many people in need with food, money, time and whatever the need happened to be. You would never have known that he was so generous behind the scenes. He loved food and was especially interested in helping the hungry and homeless anonymously and quietly. Seth was LARGER than life with an amazing personality.
Seth had a special animal in his life, “Little Girl,” a Russian blue cat. He and the cat had a special bond. Little Girl was miserable when Seth traveled, but a close friend of Seth’s, Jeff Roberts, attended to the cat often.
Seth was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Margie Price and his maternal grandparents Clarence and Jannis Cutshall.
Seth is survived by his mother, Patricia Cutshall Price, his father, Dwight Price, and his sister, Sara Price. He was survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Seth was truly the “rock” of the family and cherished each one of them. He was always available to help and gave his advice and opinions freely.
The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral and Cremation Service located at 1402 Tuckaleechee Pike in Maryville on Thursday, March 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will follow at 7 p.m. Reverend Charles Ballard will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Seth would have requested that you donate to one of the local homeless shelters or the animal shelters. Condolences may be shared through Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com
