STALANS, RUBY KATE, age 75, of Alcoa, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She retired from Proffitts Corporate. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lawrence and Ona McGuffy; brother, Tom McGuffy; and favorite family pet, Wendell. Survivors include daughters, Maraline Click, Debbie Stalans, Sandy Stalans, and Christi Fightmaster (Rob); and son, Michael Stalans (Beth); grandchildren, Travis and Tyler Click, Joseph Lee, and Michael Stalans II; sister, Louise Hitson; sister-in-law, Earlene McGuffy; several nieces and nephews; dear family friends, Betty and Bill Feezell, Gary Barrett; and many other close friends and neighbors. The funeral Service will be at 7:30PM Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary, with the Rev. Joe Green officiating. The entombment service will be at 10:00AM Thursday, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Grandview Cemetery.
