Ruby T. Newman

Newman, Ruby T. age 93 of Maryville passed away Monday, March 26, 2007 at Shannondale Retirement Center of Maryville. She was a 50 year member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. She was retired from U.T. Hospital. Preceded in death by: Husband, Harry E. Newman and Parents, William and Dora Truett and Brother Homer Truett. Survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-law Harry and Betty Newman of Athens TN; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Charleen and Gene Reynolds of Louisville, TN and Brenda and Dan Curtiss of Columbus, Ohio; Grandchildren, Ken and Sandy Reynolds, Debbie Harrison, Scott Newman, Christina Shore and Danny Curtiss; 8 great-grandchildren. The family would like to give thanks to the 1st floor skilled nursing staff at Shannondale. Family and friends will assemble at 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Grandview Mausoleum for graveside service and entombment with the Rev. Rich Mullan officiating.
