Ruby Long

Ruby Long, a loving mom, mamaw, and great grandma moved to her Heavenly address on Friday, December 5,2025. She touched many lives by her loving, her giving, and her desire to make people laugh, and was loved by many. She is preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Minnie Garland, brother Leroy Garland, Sisters Virginia Braunstein and Joyce Cluney, nephew Roy Lee Garland. She is survived by children Darrell Hurst, Kim and Brent Poe, Alvin and Carmelita Long, grandkids Darrell Hurst Jr (Dj), Hunter and Annikah Poe, Hayden Poe, Kristen Poe, Jessica and Brandon Hargroves, Eddie and Cassandra Brown, great grandchildren Nevaeh, Callie-Grace, and Judah Brown and several nieces and nephews. We will have a Celebration of Life December 14, 2025 from 5:00 until 6:30 with service following at New Harvest Church Maryville, 3715 East Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN.
