Ruby (Clabo) Hall, born March 26, 1939 in Sevier County, TN, passed away on August 12, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph E. Hall; Daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Hall Ezell (Roger), Pamela Hall Johnson (Greg); 2 Granddaughters, Sarah A. Smolka, and Laura E. Headrick (Jared); 2 Grandsons, Mason C. and Matthew H. Johnson; 3 Great-granddaughters, Kaylee E. Headrick, Eva Grace Headrick, and Ellison Ezell; Sisters, Ruth Shields and Martha Franklin; Special friends, Frances Adams, Lois Reagan, and Katherine Wilson; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Parents, James and Mariah Clabo; Brothers, Charles Clabo, Orville Clabo, Claude Clabo, Bobby Clabo; Sisters, Viola Henry, Ethel Henry, Mary Henry, Jane Ogle, Josie Brewer; Great-granddaughter, Elowen Headrick. Ruby graduated from Townsend High School. She was employed for many years as an LPN at Blount Memorial Hospital, and by the offices of Dr.Charles Hatfield, Dr. Cecil Howard, and Dr. Vandergriff. She was an active member of Tuckaleechee UMC. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1962, at the age of 22 years. Her interests included her family, church, work, hiking, reading, genealogy, and gardening. Her biggest accomplishment was being a loving Nana. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Richard Rudesill officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery, Townsend.
