Roy C. Williams

Roy Carl Williams age 78 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the family home. He was a self employed carpenter and a member of Piney Level Baptist Church. Roy was a Veteran of the US Army. Preceded in death by: Wife, Bessie Williams; Parents, Tom & Una Williams; Brothers, Robert Williams and Raymond Williams; Sisters, Bernice Walker and Lois Davis. Survivors include: Son, Loyd Williams of Maryville; Daughter, Vivian Cummings of Maryville; Grandchildren, Krystel Michelle Jacakamar and Stacy Monroe Willis; Brother, Dale Williams; Sisters-in-law, Carol Williams and Frances Williams; Sister, Ruby Jo LeQuire & husband Gene; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. George Macht officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
