Ronald Max Russell

Russell, Ronald Max of Walland, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2007 at his home. He was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired electrician from Alcoa and enjoyed flying and riding his Harley. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Nola Russell; brothers, Lamar and Marvin Russell; sister, Geraldine Russell. Survivors include his cherished friend and companion, Barbara Jackson; sons & daughters-in-law, Ronnie & Nadine Russell, Mike & Michelle Russell; daughters & sons-in-law, Lisa & James Robinson, Angie & David Milligan; Edna F. Russell; grandchildren, Haley, Katherine & Claire Milligan; twin brother, Donald Rex & wife, Anna Russell, brother & sister-in-law, Bruce & Barbara Russell; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with Rev. David Webster & Rev. Jimmy Guider officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Friends of the Smokies.
