Ron Kitelynn went into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 20th, 2025. He is finally home and now walking without a cane and standing tall in the presence of his Savior.
He is survived by his loving family of 10: wife, Jan; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Stephanie Kitelynn; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and Mark Shreve; and five grandchildren; Grace, Noah, Ayla, Abby, and Coda. They all live close by and are left with so many sweet memories of times with their Dad and Grandpa.
Ron was born in Richmond,Virginia and had many wonderful memories there and in Blackstone, Virginia. He loved to fish, hunt, spend time in the woods, visit his aunt and uncle on the farm, and especially enjoyed time with all of his extended family. He could fix about anything, became a master gardener, and was a fabulous cook. When Ron's dad was moved to Connecticut in his junior year of HS, he met his wife; it was love at first sight. He graduated from University of Bridgeport with a B.S. Degree from the College of Business Administration. Ron and Jan dated for seven years and were married on April 20th, 1969 after Ron returned home from serving in the army and a tour of Vietnam. They were best friends for 63 years.
