Roger Paul Gaudreau, 82, of Maryville, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024. He was surrounded by family at his home in Maryville, TN. He was born on Oct. 4, 1941 in Willimantic, CT. He was preceded in death by his wife MaryLou Gaudreau, his parents, Mesidas and Lea Gaudreau. He is survived by his five children: Gina (Darryl) Crane, Teresa (Randy) Glass, Diana (Glen) LaFlamme, Michele Tompkins, and Paul (Angie) Gaudreau. He is survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Roger served 7 years in the USAF as a medical materials specialist achieving the rank of Sergeant. After his military service, he worked for his father-in-law’s tree service, then eventually owned and operated Southside Superette in Willimantic, CT for 9 years. He worked various manufacturing jobs and finished his career at Rogers/Vyncolit Corporation. After retiring in 2004, Roger and MaryLou moved to Maryville in 2006 to enjoy his favorite place of Cades Cove and the mountains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital via www.stjude.org. His family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm, Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral Mass with military honors will follow starting at 1:00pm.
