Rodney Boynton Jones

Rodney Boynton Jones age 60, of Alcoa passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015. He was an avid Volunteer football and basketball fan. Rodney worked as a Controller at WYKO. He was a member of Green Meadow United Methodist Church. He graduated from Bearden High School and the University of Tennessee with honors. Preceded in death by: Parents, Mildred Boynton Jones & William Hazen Jones; Brother, Alan Jones; Sister, Brenda Jones. Survivors include: Wife, Marilyn Miller Jones. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Jim Green & Rev. Buzz Trexler officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
