Robert Lynn Howard

Robert Lynn "Bob" Howard, age 65, a 27-year TVA employee in nuclear engineering and former Tennessee National Guardsman, died Thursday, October 25, 2012 after a struggle with kidney cancer. Bob was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church. He was also an avid watercolor painter, fisherman, hunter, photographer, Volunteers fan, and a co-creator of a custom-made fishing lure. Preceded in death by: Parents, Robert C. and Obera Howard. Survivors include: Wife, Vickie Addington Howard; Children, Kari Marsh (Todd), Jason Howard and Jennifer Dabney (Tim); Sister, Patricia Gayle Self; Grandchildren, Talyn and Tinsley Marsh and Lexi and Zane Douglas; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Joe and Michelle Addington. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Smith West Chapel with funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Charles Murrell officiating.
