Robert Lee Heaton

Robert Lee Heaton entered this world on September 29, 1934 and left to be with his Heavenly Father on September 21, 2025. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Robert never met a stranger. There was no person he met that he was not kind to. He loved his precious fur babies Jaxson and Jasper Heaton. His very favorite little boys. His very best friend on this Earth, is his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Heaton. Brenda spent many years taking the best care of her Mr. Robert. Robert’s best quality was also his favorite thing to do, make others laugh at his crazy jokes. Robert spent many years growing close to God and worshiping Jesus.

Preceded by his Mother and Father-Ella Mae and James Willard Heaton; Brothers, Claude, Gerald, and Reese Heaton; Sisters, Alma Fann, Wanda Burger, and Judy Moon; Son in law, Mike Howell.

Survived by his wife of 47 years, Brenda Heaton; Son, Robert Steve Heaton; Daughters, Kathy Howell (Robin Nickell) and Brittany Spreng (Chris Spreng); Numerous Grand Children, Great Grand Children, Great Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law, Charlotte Heaton; Special friends, Jack and Carol Kirkland; The family would like to recognize Son-in-law, Chris Spreng for stepping up during their hour of need. Chris was wonderful to Robert and treated him with the upmost care and respect while he was facing his journey to Heaven.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Grandview Cemetery with Tom Moss officiating.
