Robert E. Dixon

Robert Eldon Hickey Dixon, Jr. of Farner and Maryville, TN passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at his family’s home. Bobby was 70 years old.

He is preceded in death by his parents Geneva (Ralph) Dixon and Robert Hickey, brother David Owens and sister Helen “Teka” Owens. He is survived by sister Fonda “Milli” (Roger) Ledford, brother Clinton Dixon, and sons Johnny (Amy) Dixon and Matthew (Kayla) Dixon; grandchildren Kyleigh Patterson (Lucas), Erin Head (Corbin), Reagan Dixon, Nathan Dixon, Jonathan (Cole) Dixon, Raegan Spencer, Dominic Hughes, Neveah Morgan, Tyler Dixon, Riley Morgan, Jacob Dixon, Lenyx Morgan, Casen Dixon; great grandchildren Lainey and Lincoln Patterson, special friend Beverly Saplys, several nieces and nephews; special nephew and niece Roger (Gail) and Maci Nuchols, great nephews Cody (Emilee) Nuchols, Becca (Tra) Woods. Great, great nephew and nieces Lucas and Ivy Woods and Zaylen Nuchols.

Bobby spent many years as a trucker and greatly enjoyed traveling the country, experiencing the open road. In addition to his time behind the wheel of a big rig, he had a deep passion for motorcycles and found great joy in riding whenever he could. Whether it was a long road trip or a casual weekend ride, Bobby cherished the freedom of the road. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Bobby will be deeply missed by everyone who knows him. We are blessed to know that our Bobby knew his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so that one day we will all meet again.
