Rita S. Russell

Russell, Rita S. age 84 of Maryville passed away Monday, February 19, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and a member of the church choir. She played drums and sang in the Blount County Senior Band also known as the "Gingham Gang Band." Preceded in death by: Husband, Fred T. Russell. Survivors include: Daughter, Cindy Corwin of Maryville. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM, Friday, February 23, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church followed by funeral mass at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 23, 2007, Father Alex Waraksa officiating.
