Richard George Powers, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 at home. He served 23 years in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1974 and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was discharged as a Lieutenant 03E. Preceded in death by his wife, Frances Powers; mother, Eleanor Bernard; sister, Beverly Jean Skinner. Survived by sister, Patricia Louise Reed; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Shelly Powers; daughters, Terri Wilson, Donna Marie; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:15 until 2:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Graveside Service and Interment to follow at 3:00 PM at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel.
