Richard Burl Lindsey

Richard Burl Lindsey, age 80 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at UT Medical Center. A diesel mechanic by trade, and was a master builder and restoration specialist. Preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Hazel Miller Lindsey; brother, David Lindsey; and brother-in-law, Wool Witenbarger. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara Kerr Lindsey; son, Richard David Lindsey; sister, Clara Lindsey Witenbarger; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Lindsey, Loren and Judy Parress, and Johnny and Karen Parress; brother-in-law, Andy Kerr; nieces and nephews, Lynn and Linda Davis, Amanda and Brad Russell, and Andrew Kerr; great nieces and nephews, Little Lynn and Kellie Davis, and Bradey Russell; numerous neighbors and friends. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 am on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Berry Highland South Memorial Park Cemetery for graveside services and interment.
