Raymond Franklin Shindledecker, Jr.

Raymond Shindledecker age 73 of Maryville passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the family home. He was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Currently, he was a part-time manager at 24/7 Quick Fitness. Raymond served in the United States Marine Corp and the Central Intelligence Agency. He loved his favorite hobby, golf. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by all. Preceded in death by: Father, Raymond Franklin Shindledecker Sr.; Brother, Charles Shindledecker. Survivors include: Wife, Chong Shindledecker; Son, Ray Franklin Shindledecker III currently serving in Afghanistan; Daughter, Angela Shindledecker of Waynesboro, PA & Husband, Alan Ribner; Step-sons, Jason Dailey & wife Jennifer of Maryville and Michael Dailey of Maryville; Mother, Evelyn Shindledecker of Waynesboro, PA; Grandchildren, Layna Ribner and Keira Dailey; Sister, Frances McQuait of Waynesboro, PA; Special friends, Jim Pittman, Ed Gibson, and too many others to number. Funeral service will be at 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Glenn Cummings officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 22, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
