 Randy Williamson of Maryville TN, formerly of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the age of 70 after a courageous battle with ALS. He was a proud Army Veteran who served on the front lines in Vietnam. He was a mortgage broker throughout the southeast for over 40 years and a friend to anyone who knew him. He was an avid golfer who could always be found at a golf course on a sunny day! He loved to go fishing and spend time with his grandkids, whom he adored. Preceded in death by his parents, Harmon and Claudia Williamson; brothers, L.C., Howard, Charles, and Edward; sisters, Charlene, Ethel, Ellie V.; special friends, Charles Milstead and Ron Hall. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Viola Williamson; children, Tony Williamson (Becky), Katrina Gaddis (Brandon), Darrell Williamson; grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Anabeth, Allie, Parker, Macey, Addison, Emory; sisters, Louise Boran of Ringgold, GA and Betty Welch of Pell City, AL; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 12:30 PM Thursday, May 25, 2023 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Gov. John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will gather after services at the family home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ALS Association in memory of Randy Williamson.
