Phyllis J. Whisnant

Phyllis Jean Whisnant age 84 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville. Phyllis was a homemaker and loved to make afghans and give to family and friends. Preceded in death by: Parents, Sears & Mildred Price. Survivors include: Husband of 63 years, Joe Whisnant; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Lewis & Sandy Whisnant of Lenoir City, Dwight Whisnant of Bradington, FL, and Glen & Joyce Whisnant of AL; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Linda & Tim Studabaker of Boulder, CO and Carol Whisnant of Lakewood, CO; Seven Grandchildren; Four Great-Grandchildren; Three Nieces of Indiana; several cousins. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. John Sharp officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
