Phyllis Ann Rasor

Phyllis “Cannon” Rasor, born December 5, 1942 passed away on April 10, 2023 surrounded by family at her home. As with everything she did in life, she was always determined, strong and outgoing. She loved spring flowers, summer walks on the beach, and traveling in the RV.

After a long battle with cancer, she succumbed to the disease; but through her, we learned the true
meaning of the scripture verse, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Steven Benson and her parents Hubert and Johnnie “Vinyard” Cannon.

She is survived by her husband, William Rasor; daughter, Angela Benson/Catherine and sons Michael/Kristi Benson and David/Sandy Benson; sisters, Jeanette Murphy, Claudette Merrit and Connie Jechell; grandchildren, Jackie and Kaishia Killion, Sarah/Eric Barnet, Christy/Devin Roberts, Devin Benson, Hunter Hartley; stepchildren, Rhonda/Jason Hamilton, Diana/Alan Tuck, Kimberly/Tom Clark; seven grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Family and friends will assemble at 3:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment Thursday April 13, 2023 at Grandview Cemetery, Maryville TN.
