Phillip H. Hedrick

Phillip H. (Potsie) Hedrick age 76 of Maryville passed away Friday, May 2, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and retired from the 134th Refueling Unit at McGhee Tyson Air Base after more than 35 years of military service. Preceded in death by: Parents, John & Otey Hedrick; Sister & husband, Peggy & Robert Martin. Survivors include: Wife, Frances Jean Hedrick; Son & Daughter-in-law, Curtis & Carolyn Hedrick of Ballplay, TN; Daughters and Sons-in-laws, Teresa & Charlie Coones of Maryville, Phyllis & Jeff Chesney of Maynardville, TN; Grandchildren, Megan Lawhorn, Lynn & John Chesney, Kyndall & Kelsey Hedrick; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Lacy & Bert Hedrick of Kingsport, TN and Randall & Pat Hedrick of Chestnut Hill, TN; Sisters Janet Thompson of Chicago, IL, Shirley & husband Bob Pate of Shady Springs, WV, and Linda. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Dan Bartl officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Townsend, TN for the interment.
