Phillip Ray Boring age 69 of Friendsville passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the family home. He was a devoted Father and Papaw. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. after 30 years of loyal service. He loved Tennessee football, working out, and Johnny Cash. Preceded in death by: Father, Pete; Mother, Rose; Brothers, Owen & Dallas; Sisters, Jean and Willymae. Survivors include: Daughter, Melanie Goins & husband Mike; Son, Scott Boring & wife Tana; Son, Tony Boring & wife Heather; Three Grandchildren, Britney Rice, Kelli Boring, Phillip Boring; Six Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Barb; Brothers, Joe & Larry.
