Peter William Hall, born November 9th, 1947, in Six Penny Handley, England, lived a life defined by humor, generosity, loyalty, and a quiet love for the people around him. Today, we honor a man who never sought attention, yet left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Pete was the son of Arthur William Hall and Virtue Penny, and grew up alongside his brothers Derek and Dave, both of whom preceded him in passing.

In the 1970s, the three brothers owned a Formula Ford racing car that ran on the British circuit—an achievement Pete was immensely proud of. It represented teamwork, excitement, and the joy of pursuing something extraordinary.

At twenty years old, on February 3rd, 1968, Pete married Barbara Ann Johnson in West Tytherley. Their marriage became a lifelong partnership rooted in devotion, humor, Commitment and the comfort of simply being together.

Pete, Ann and Julian moved to Tennessee in 1988 to start a new chapter in their life. Julian married Kristi Gibson on July 1st, 1996, who then on May 4th, 2010. Kristi gave birth to Lucas, their only child, and the only beloved Grandchild to Pete and Ann,

Pete never cared for material things; he cared for people. His home was a place of warmth, welcome, and laughter—a reflection of the man who lived within it.

Pete had a remarkable ability to find humor in almost any situation. His jokes were perfectly timed, and capable of lifting the weight from even the hardest moments. His humor wasn’t loud or showy; it was warm and human, the kind that made people feel at ease and reminded them that joy could still be found, even in difficult times.

He was also deeply generous. Pete gave freely—his time, his help, his attention—without ever expecting recognition. His kindness was steady and sincere, the kind that quietly shaped the lives of those around him.

Photography was one of Pete’s great passions. Through his lens, he captured the world with patience and appreciation. He noticed details others overlooked: the way light fell across a landscape, the candid expressions of loved ones, the beauty in everyday life. Photography wasn’t just a hobby for him; it was a way of seeing, a way of preserving moments that mattered.

Pete has made countless friends over the years in England and the US with Rod being one of his Closest who has always been there for him in his time of need.

One of the great loves of his life was his springer spaniels. Pete and Ann spent many years volunteering with Springer Rescue, giving their time and hearts to dogs who needed care.

Driving countless miles taking rescued Springers to new owners.

Pete was a loyal friend and a committed employee, someone who believed in hard work and dedication. When Pete cared about something—or someone—he committed fully. His reliability and sincerity made him deeply trusted by colleagues and friends alike.

Motor racing, especially Formula 1, remained a lifelong love. He followed the sport closely, admired its history, and cherished the excitement it brought him.

Above all, Pete loved spending time with friends and family. He didn’t need grand occasions; he found joy in simple togetherness. His presence made gatherings feel complete.

Today, we remember Pete not for material accomplishments, but for the character he carried every day—his humor, his generosity, his loyalty, and his love. His legacy lives on in the stories we share, the memories he captured, and the kindness he showed so effortlessly.

Pete was a gift to this world, and we will carry his spirit with us always.

Pete was preceded in death by his Parents- Arthur William Hall & Virtue ( Penny ) Hall,

Wife-Barbara Ann, Brothers David and Derek, And Niece Jennifer.

He is survived by his son, Julian Hall, and his wife, Kristi; his grandson, Lucas, and his nieces and nephews, Jenny, Katie, Bryony, Carla, Beverly, Emma, Donna, Vince, Mark, Jodi & Tyler.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 15th at the Smith's Life Event Center from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
