Paul "Milton" Effler

Paul Milton Effler age 85 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at UT Medical Center.  He was a 50+ year member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville and retired from S.P. Richards Co. in Atlanta where he served for over 20 years in the Office Product Industry. Milton was a former Vice-President of The Sparks Family Reunion.  He loved music and playing his guitar, traveling, and hiking.  He was a loving and devoted husband, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by his friends and family.  Preceded in death by: parents, Wade and Bessie Effler; sister & brother-in-law, JoAnn & Vance Shuler of Townsend; brother, Leon Effler of Rockford; sisters-in-law, Shirley Clark of Seymour and Brenda & L.C. Cutshaw of Halls.  Survivors include:  wife and best friend of 63 years, Betty Effler; brothers & sisters-in-law, Mayford & Ruby Effler of Townsend, Lynn & Susan Effler of Louisville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gene & Norma Vandagriff of Halls, R.B. & Mary Vandagriff of Halls, Paul & Gail Vandagriff of Clinton, Jerry Vandagriff of Halls, Allen & Natalie Vandagriff of Hall, sister-in-law, Julie Effler; 17 nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to:  First Baptist Church Knoxville Food, Bank, 510 W.
