Patsy "Diane" Hitch

Rockford

Patsy “Diane” Hitch of Rockford passed away peacefully at her home. She was 72 years old. Diane was a member of Central Point Baptist Church. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, David and Wilma McGill; brothers, Andy, David, and Harvey McGill; sisters, Barbara Hitch and Evelyn Nichols; and grandson, Austin Hitch. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 12 years Mack Hitch; daughters, Rebecca (Leslie) Sherlin, Pamela Ownby Locke, Angie (Heather) Bulman; sons, Mike (Jeffrey) Hitch, and Jeff (Tracy) Hitch; grandchildren, Rob (Nichole) Jacobs, Mariska Sherlin, Hannah, Hailey, Aliyah Misako, Ansley Locke, Allyssa Hitch, Jessica (Hunter) Mitchell; great grandsons, Aiden Jacobs, Eli Austin Hunter and Kayle Hunter; brother, Ernest McGill; sisters, Alice (Hugh) Cowan, Bess (Bob) Brown, and Helen (Gene) Phelps; special cousin, Carl McGill, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 4, 2024 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. A Celebration of Diane’s life will follow with Rev. Chris Cupp officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the interment service and burial.
