Obituary

Norma Jean Lambert was born in Maryville, Tennessee on June 23, 1939. She was a 1957 graduate of Everett High School and a member of Middlesettlements Methodist Church. After the untimely death of her husband Wally in 1968, she returned to school at Draughon’s Business College. She worked in the secretarial field until her retirement.

Through life’s trials, God’s providential hand sustained our family and we are forever grateful. May our dear mother now have eternal rest in our Lord’s care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace H. Lambert; son Hugh W. Lambert; parents Gordon and Edna Talbott; and brother, Ronald L. Talbott.

She is survived by her son, Kent Lambert; daughters Kim Lambert and Amy (Rex) Bloomer; and brother James (Pam) Talbott.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brookdale Sandy Springs.

Family and friends will assemble for a graveside service on Monday, July 27th, 2026, at 12:00pm at Grandview Cemetery with Pastor Magan Stubblefield officiating.

To honor Norma Jean, donations may be made in her name to Middlesettlements Methodist Church, 2729 Middlesettlements Road, Maryville, TN 37801.
