Nola Pearl Oliver

Oliver, Nola Pearl Tipton age 79 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a member of Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church. She was one of the last people born in Cades Cove and the owner of Peggy's Hair Styling in Alcoa. Preceded in death by: Parents, Shade & Iva Tipton; Sisters, Hazel Jackson, Mable Walker, and Edna Phillips; Brothers, Harold & Robert Tipton. Survivors include: Sons, Gary Cox & wife Katherine of Maryville and Jay Cox of Friendsville; Grandchildren, Leah Stuart, Aaron Cox, Jayson Cox, Courtney Cox, and Kelly Cox. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Friday, December 8, 2006, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Jimmy Cooper officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Cades Cove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
