Naomi R. Lowe

Naomi Rogers Lowe, age 91, went to be with the Lord September 16, 2010 at Fairpark Healthcare Center where she was lovingly cared for by their dedicated staff. Since 1938, she had been a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. She found JOY in giving her children their favorite pieces of chicken; visiting the folks in Sevier County; enjoying fellowship with the Young at Hearts; fixing hairdos for some lovely ladies; raising iris and glads to decorate the church sanctuary; and going to the mall for all the great sales. She found adventure in watching the whales off the Maui coast; biking around scenic Cades Cove; climbing the precipitous heights of Stone Mountain; feeling the spray of Niagara Falls; and tubing the tumultuous Little River. She was preceded in death by: Husband Ellis; Son-in-law, Bill Cook; Sister, Alice Stoner. Survivors include: Children, Patricia Cook, Barbara, Gary and Bobbie Lowe; Grandchildren, Brian & Peiti Cook, Karen, Michael and Kelli Lowe; Great Grandsons, Colin and Bode Cook; Sister, Barbara Jean Garrison & husband Bob. Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 18, 2010 followed by the service at 11:00 AM at Smith Trinit Chapel with Pastor Raymond Burnett officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 1:30 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. Memorial donations may be made to: Mt.
