Nancy Joanne Greenway

Nancy Joanne Greenway, age 74, passed away July 10, 2025. Through the years she was active in the Greenback Community Club and the Greenback Rescue Squad. She was the first woman to be elected to serve on the greenback City Council. Preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Maye Heaton and sister, Martha Jane Grace; Survived by her husband of 53 years, Philip Greenway; sister, Gaynelle Wilson; brother-in-law, Melvin Grace; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Barbara Brown, Lorene Tinker, Jean Susie and Ronnie Goodwin; and her cherished lapdog, Lucky. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Spark Plugs Class college fund at Fairview United Methodist Church 2508 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN 37803.
