Minnie Sue Malone

Minnie Sue Malone age 87 of Maryville passed away at Colonial Hills Nursing Center on Saturday, October 30, 2010. She was born January 4, 1923 in Athens, TN. She was a member of the First Church of God of Maryville for 68 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Malone; parents, Napoleon Griggs and Fannie Griggs Gamble; sisters, Helen Gamble and Lucille Johnson; brothers, Ray and Bill Griggs, and Bob Gamble. Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Carolyn Malone; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Fred White of Maryville; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Jeff and Janet Malone and Steve and Laura Bell; granddaughter, Sonya Killian of Maryville; great granddaughters Brooke Malone, Hayley Fieldhouse, and Gianna Bell; great grandsons, Brandon Malone, Logan Killian, Dakota Bell, and Jaden Kersey; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Lee and Wanda Griggs of North Georgia; sister-in-law, Vivian Gamble of Bakersfield, CA; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with the Rev. Lee Griggs officiating.
