Milton “Loy” McClanahan, age 76, of Friendsville, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026.

Milton was a member of Beech Grove Primitive Baptist Church and was a beloved member of his family and community. He will be remembered for His kindness, faith, And his personality.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Staley McClanahan and Hazel McClanahan; brothers, Gordon, Emerson, Ronald, and Jerry; and sisters, Shirley, Phyllis, and Ruth.

Survived by; brother, Marvin; sisters, Elnora and Martha; sister-in-law Sandy; and several nieces and nephews.

Milton also leaves behind a special pet, “Old Yeller,” who was very dear to him. Family and friends are invited to come by the funeral home from 12PM to 5PM Friday the 14th, 8AM to 5PM Saturday the 15th, and 8AM to 12PM Sunday the 16th for a viewing and to pay respects. A graveside service will be on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Marble Hill Cemetery with Elder Dennis Holt and Elder Darrell Clabough officiating.
