Mildred C. Boruff

Mildred C. Boruff, age 88, of Maryville, now resides in heaven with her Lord and Savior. She passed peacefully into her new eternal life on April 8, 2011 at 5:00 AM. Her daughters were by her side when she passed to meet her Lord whom she loved so dearly. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Brodie Boruff. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Laverne & Tony James of Sweetwater, Faye & Ralph Payne of Maryville, Bea & Don Potter of Maryville; Grandchildren, Brett, Bryan and Dennis Cooper, Kimberly Payne Blackburn, Lisa Payne Hollingsworth, Scott Potter, Sherri Potter Ervin; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; Sister, Ethel Miller of Knoxville; 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Special thanks to “Momma�? Kay Burnette, and all the staff on 2 South at Asbury Place for their wonderful care and the love they gave to Mother. To know our mother was to love her, and the staff told us that every day. We love every one of you who helped take care of mother. Also, special thanks to Pastor Mike Parker and the members of New Hope Church whom she so dearly loved. They never forgot her over the six years she was in Asbury Place. We love you all. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery.
