Michael Lynn Hicks

Michael Lynn Hicks, age 69, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday morning, November 18, 2025. He was born February 3, 1956 in Blount County. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Hicks, and his brothers, Douglas Allan and Timothy Hicks. ‍Mike is survived by his mother, UnaVee Hicks; his wife, Bette Hicks; his son, Jason Hicks; his daughter-in-law, Casey Hicks; his step-daughter, Tiffany Smith; and granddaughters, Riley Tyson, Beka Smith, and Abby Smith; his grandson-in-law, K’Vaughn Tyson; and his great-granddaughter, Wyatt Tyson. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him. He dedicated much of his professional life to service in the Alcoa Police Department and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his wife and family.
