Melvin Harris

Melvin Hoyt Harris age 87 of Etowah, TN passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in a nursing facility in Leesburg, VA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army securing forces in Germany at the end of the war. He retired from ALCOA as a Millwright. Melvin was a lifelong devoted father and husband who will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by: Wife, Nancy Lee Harris. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Christopher & Naomi Harris; Daughter, LaDonna Lynn McClanahan; Grandchildren, Sharon, Kenny & April; Sister, Elizabeth. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 2:30 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. George Macht officiating.
